In obedience to His Excellency the
Governor in Chief’s Commands by Your
Letter of the 29th Ins t , I have given James
Brown & others, a Licence of Occupation
for Thirty acres of Land each, as will
more fully appear by a copy of ____
Licence herewith enclosed, and as
a further guidance to those individuals,
_____ thereto, a Plan or Diagram,
of the respective Lots __ all which were
given them on Saturday Evening, as
they were extremely anxious to
avail themselves of the opportunity
of the Steam Boat leaving ____
the next morning.
